Magda and I are so happy to start off the 2010 wedding season with a really special one. A magical wedding in our home land… Poland… Magda and Rafal live here just like us in Montreal, but they wanted to have their wedding in their home country, Poland. They chose to have it in the Janowice Palace a top a rolling hill in the south eastern part of Poland. We were lucky to follow them there to capture their beautiful day and as a perk spend a few beautiful and incredibly fun nights with them and their family and friends!
Magda and Rafal made it easy for us to take their photos since they’re so photogenic but we had a wide range of awesome shooting locations. And that means that we couldn’t decide on only a few favourites but instead had to put a lot ;)
We wish you guys a lifetime of health and happiness in your marriage!!!
Here are our best shots of the day…
Magda’s dad getting ready too!
Rafal and his best man, Adam. Chillin’ like villains by the tower.
Poland really has no shortage of ridiculously awesome churches. This one is the Tarnow Cathedral founded in 1346!
There is a really neat tradition in the town of Tarnow. Kids and adolescents find out when there is a marriage and quickly block off the newlywed couple’s path with sting. In order for them to let them through, they must be bribed with either candy or some stronger stuff for the adults ;) Really cute!
One of my favourite shots! Magda took this one:
Models? I think so!
Their first dance…
