Wanda + Sam: Wedding!

Wanda and Sam met through a bunch of friends at University. They didn’t think much of it until they found out they own the same breed of dog… That’s when things started getting interesting! Wanda really wanted her dog Yuki to play with Sam’s dog Tidus so they arranged that they would meet up for a “first walk in the park”. That walk lasted 5 hours and we’re pretty sure it’s not because the pups needed an extra long walk! Now Tidus and Yuki are completely inseperable and the same goes for Wanda and Sam.  We are big time dog lovers, so right away we clicked with these two. Such genuinely nice people…we seriously need more of them on this planet!

The day started off fantastic. The sun was glimpsing into their hotel rooms but during mass, the rain started coming down. Hard. After the beautiful ceremony in the world famous Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, we were ready to go outside for some photos but much to our dismay, there was a mini Tsunami ripping sideways through the streets of the old Port!!! How horrible!

BUT! After a little bit of thinking we came up with some awesome alternative indoor locations. The rain let up briefly for the horse drawn carriage ride so at least we got that outdoors, yay! Wanda and Sam did an excellent job at posing for us in all these different indoor locations, giving great variety to the photos. Thank you for the wonderful day… oh and the ah-mazing food! Best of luck to the two of you… When Tidus and Yuki decide to get married you know who to call for pics ;)

After the ceremony, we finally had time to peacefully take some gorgeous images of the two newlyweds. We started off inside the church…

Then we took a little horse drawn carriage ride!

We quickly hopped out to get away from the crazy rain and went indoors again:

Mirka - Absolutely stunning photos!July 3, 2009 – 2:12 pm

Aleks - Wow, I loved the bride’s dress! The church photo’s were stunning, but I think my favorite is the one in the horse drawn carriage and on the balcony in the hotel… they remind me of Romeo and Juliet. Great job guys!July 6, 2009 – 3:26 pm
