It has been 6 years since we have had the pleasure of knowing Marie and Alex. From meeting them at a beautiful beach destination wedding, to shooting their own wonderful wedding, to seeing their amazing business flourish; and now, to seeing their beautiful new family expand.

Sometimes we meet a couple with a special connection to us, and this time Jessica and Greg were exactly that. When looking for wedding photographers, Greg’s mom was flipping through wedding magazines and liked the look of a photo gracing the cover of the Spring/Summer 2011 edition of the Ottawa Wedding Magazine. Greg and Jessica were intrigued and when we met, Greg realized we went to the same high school together and were just a year apart! I remember Greg running all sorts of events, clubs and being the go getting head boy of the school and he’s no different today! Both Jessica and Greg are wonderful, adventurous people. Travelling the world and doing good things for people, all we see is happiness down the line.

The wedding was in the beautiful Gatineau hills at Camp Fortune. This too is a near and dear place to us since Magda and I skied there while dating through high school! The chalet provided a beautiful and rustic setting for Jessica and Greg’s wedding. We leave you with our favourite moments and we thank you for choosing us to capture your special day. Kristy and Jackson contacted us last year after seeing our work we did of some of their friends weddings. Since then, we’ve hung out with them not only at their engagement photos in Ottawa’s Byward Market, but also at a wedding where Jackson was in the bridal party! We develop special relationships with our couples already, so when we get a chance to see them before their own wedding, it makes it even more special. That’s the case with Kristy and Jackson.

Fast forward to the summer of 2016, and we’re in at Le Belvedere in Wakefield, overlooking the Outaouais hills at their wedding. The venue is truly beautiful. With a view to die for, an outdoor ceremony area, patio and a gorgeous cottage where the couple can spend a night. Kristy and Jackson’s nature themed wedding, complete with their fluffy puppy Yoyo was really beautiful. From the tea ceremony all the way to the games at the sun kissed Le Belvedere, we couldn’t have asked for better setting.
