Bartek & Magda

Artists Quynh and Richard came to us only a few months before their October wedding date. All they had to tell us was that they met on Halloween years ago, the wedding was going to be Halloween themed, that Quynh (being a fashion designer) was sewing her own red wedding gown…and we were hooked! Oh and did I mention that it was a masquerade as well? To top it off, they rented a whole chalet for the weekend up in the Mont-Tremblant area!

It was such a unique and relaxed day! We absolutely love it when the bride and groom just relax and let the day take a shape and soak it all in. Everyone took their time preparing, getting ready and just hanging out with friends and family. The ceremony was really intimate and Quynh and Richard had such amazing chemistry, and love for eachother. It was a real pleasure just watching them and of course capturing every moment which was followed by a super hot and fun photo shoot. Quynh posed and looked like she was straight out of a fashion magazine and paired with Richard, made for some stunning images! Quynh and Richard hoped that it would snow… and snow it did! It was the icing on top of the cake ;)

We wish you guys the most creative and fun life together just like these wonderful years you’ve already had as a couple!

Amber and Pete are nuts! Pete’s job took them to Germany, but before they were going to move they decided to plan their whole wedding in Ottawa, get us to shoot their engagement session and pack and ship all their stuff over to Europe. And that’s exactly what happened! You may remember these two from a really cute engagement session we shot back in September.

So, the day finally came when Amber and Pete, who barely even had a chance to get used to Germany, flew right back home to Ottawa to get married. One thing that saved them I think was the fact that both of them were really chill about everything. They weren’t bothered by the little things and just went with the flow! Which definitely helped with their stress levels and because of that they had enjoyed every moment of the day.

The wedding was held at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu culinary institute in Ottawa. We didn’t know this but they have a really nice restaurant with beautiful interiors and of course, ah-mazing food! Magda and I made use of the gorgeous building inside for some photo opportunities and then we went near the Parliament to take some photos just before sunset.

If you guys need some photographers to fly down to Germany to capture an anniversary…you know who to call! ;) But in the meantime, enjoy your crazy new adventure…you deserve it!

Angela, Chris and their entire family as such incredibly kind and sincere people…it’s almost too sweet and fun to hang out with them (if that’s possible?)! Everything about the day was calm and serene. From the very morning of getting ready nothing was rushed, everyone had a smile on their face, everything was smooth and on time, the weather was just perfect.

The wedding took place at the Lago Bar and Grillon the Dows Lake Pavilion in Ottawa. Not only was this a seriously sweet and intimate wedding, but when we asked Angela to strike a pose…this girl doesn’t hold back! She can honestly drop whatever she’s doing now and pursue a modeling career. Her smile and her love for her husband emanated from every photo we took of them. It was such a pleasure spending the day with them and getting a chance to be a part of their beginning to an incredible journey :)
