I remember the time when we first met Denise and Darroll. It was last summer at a Starbucks in Kanata, Ontario.
We grabbed some coffees and instead of talking wedding, we immediately got side tracked and just started chatting about them and a little about us. Denise, having a permanent smile is the most adorable fit for a not-so-bad-looking-himself Darroll. We talked, laughed and peeked a little into their lives which we soon got to be a part of.
Fast forward to this last month and we are on a plane to London, Ontario to work with Denise and Darroll on their big wedding day! The wedding was held at the University of Western Ontario in the Great Hall, which is not too far from where Denise grew up with her brothers as a child! Speaking of which, the day before the wedding, all the guests were treated to a mouth watering pig roast and perogie party hosted at that same farm. To make it even more special, Darroll hand picked and wrestled the pigs to the ground himself (at least that’s what he told us…but we believe you ;).
The day was planned out beautifully by Amy McNall and we worked along side Avartisan Productions who captured the whole day on video.
Cute as a button Denise found her knight in shining armour, and this was clearly echoed by all the guests at their wedding. We were constantly moved to tears (and a lot of laughter) by the beautiful things their friends and family had to say about them. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts that you invited us to come work with you and capture your important day. Thank you, and we wish you the happiest marriage you could ever dream of!
