Being hired to photograph a couple of ceremonies within a family over the years is one of our favourite honours in our career. Not only is it flattering that people like us as well as our work to keep having us come back, but we absolutely love reconnecting and seeing old friends again! This time we had the pleasure of photographing Zoe and Jonathan’s wedding in Vaughan, Ontario which is essentially Toronto. We first met Jonathan at his brother Nathanael’s wedding a few years ago here in Montreal, check it out how time flies here!
We’ve never been to the Vaughan area aside from Canada’s Wonderland when we were teenagers, but after visiting this time, we were really taken by the beautiful rural village landscapes it had to offer. Specifically the little beautiful village of Kleinburg which was the setting for Zoe and Jonathan’s photos after the ceremony! The day was quite beautiful so we planned out our photos to start at the McMichael Art Gallery and just walk around the Kleinburg area finding gorgeous little nooks and crannies.
What can we say about Zoe and Jonathan’s wedding other than it being really personal and very touching. The family bonds we witnessed in both their families is not something you see every day, and the words said at both the reception and ceremony had everyone choked up. Oh, and if anyone didn’t know this already…the Greeks know how to party!
Zoe and Jonathan, thank you for bringing us down to Ontario to capture your beautiful day. Not only did we end off with some beautiful photography for you, but we had a blast spending time with you and enjoying your friends and family. We wish you nothing but the best. And with that, we leave you with a slideshow as well as our favourite images from the day…
