Gosia + Robert | A Polish Wedding in the Vineyards of Niagara

We’re Polish! So naturally Magda and I get super excited when we get a chance to photograph a Polish wedding just like Gosia and Robert’s. To make this even better, we personally know them from the Polish community here in Montreal and they also happen to be photographers! We hung out with them a while ago chatting about the wedding photography business and little did we know that a couple years later we’d be there having fun and photographing their special day!

We travelled by train to Toronto for their wedding and we enjoyed every part of it. I really like Toronto and surrounding areas, so it was quite a treat to be able to shoot in the vineyards of the Niagara region. Gosia scoped out some really beautiful vineyards that we were able to photograph at and then it was time for the party. No Polish wedding is without a live band (Zespol Impuls!), lots of vodka and a lot of dancing Polish uncles and aunts. Magda and I had an absolute blast at the wedding and we’re incredibly flattered and happy that we were chosen by them to come and capture their wedding. Gosia and Robert, thank you for trusting us and thank you for getting us down there to be part of the day!

Wishing you lot’s of love and happiness, we leave you with our favourite images! And of course, the slideshow is below.

Aileen + Hans | A Wedding at The Loft Hotel in Montreal

Since getting to know these two awesome people, recently on their engagement shoot, we’ve been really looking forward to Aileen and Hans’ wedding! They are both unbelievably adorable as a couple and their sweet personalities had us wondering if the rest of their family is similar. Were we right! Everyone from the parents to Hans’ amazing relationship with his brother, to all their friends, all reflected the same positive energy and friendly disposition that Aileen and Hans have. If it was up to us, we would have easily taken Aileen and Hans home and kept them forever because we love them so much!

As usual, The Loft Hotel here in Montreal provided the perfect place for the wedding ceremony and reception. Aileen had some beautiful candles lining the ceremony aisle, the flowers were all done by Alain Simon Fleurs and the stunning cake by Luisa Galuppo Cakes.

We partied, we ate, we took beautiful photos of everything and we cannot be thankful enough for being a part of their day. Thank you Aileen and Hans for having us there to photograph your day and if your chemistry says anything about your future together, then you’ve got only joy and love to look forward to. The Parsons Family

It’s very flattering when another photographer hires us to take photos of them, and even more special when she trusts us to take her family photos. Amy is a photographer in Prince Edward Island and she was here in Montreal for a wedding along with her beautiful new family! In the spirit of capturing Montreal’s essence, we naturally took them to the Old Port for some portraits and to capture some close moments for them. Here’s the result from that warm spring morning!

Bridesmaids in Montreal – A little photoshoot

We love our job because we get to hang out with happy people, wanting happy photos. Most of the time it’s happy brides and grooms, sometimes it’s happy families, babies, dogs, and sometimes it’s a group of super close and happy bridesmaids! Anh and her girls decided to come up here to Montreal for a fun weekend filled with shopping, Starbucks and also a photoshoot with us.

The five of them got dolled up in beautiful little pastel coloured dresses and brought some props along for the day too. Here are a few of the frames we shot that day in the park and a little in the historic Pointe-Claire Village on the West Island of Montreal. If these photos say anything about what Anh’s wedding will be like, then everyone is in for a treat! We hope you enjoy…

Joee - Love this set ! Love the colors, love the fun and creativity….and well, the girls, obviously.

Beautiful photos guys !May 29, 2013 – 2:42 pm

Barbara + Olivier | McGill University Engagement Session

mcgill engagement session

Believe it or not we have never officially shot on the McGill downtown campus before! I imagine a lot of Montreal wedding and portrait photographers have photographed couples here before numerous times but this was a first for us.

Barbara and Olivier met while studying here so it meant a lot to them to come back and have some sentimental engagement photos captured here. It was a super quick last minute shoot since they’re not from here but we are so happy to have spent at least this short amount of time with them. It’s always such a pleasure working with sweet couples like Barbara and Olivier who are up for anything and are all smiles throughout the whole photo shoot!

Here is a handful of many many photos we took on this sunny afternoon.
