We first met Cinzia a few years ago at one of our first weddings. Immediately she struck us as a genuinely awesome girl who is so down to earth! Of course we were thrilled to hear from her when she contacted us some time ago to shoot her wedding!! So Cinzia was going to be married to a handsome guy named JP, and 3 days after their wedding they were going to move to Dubai! Yes, Dubai. The one close to Saudi Arabia! They wanted to grab life by the reigns and just go for it…and that’s what they did… how exciting for them!
The wedding took place in Ottawa on a risky month…December! Everyone prayed for nice weather but alas, we got hit by a nasty winter storm that day. Probably one of the worst days this winter so far! It was freezing cold, windy, slush everywhere, it was seriously horrible weather. Usually brides get a tiiiiny bit stressed out if the weather doesn’t go as planned for their special day but when we turned and looked at Cinzia and JP, they had not a single worry in them! It was amazing and so refreshing that everyone, including their fantastic parents, just went with the flow and embraced the day as it went. And because of that everyone just simply had fun and the wedding was fabulous.
The reception was held at the Giuseppina Palace in Ottawa and as a treat during the night we were surprised by belly dancer Aniseh Nesrallah…it was really cool!
We wish Cinzia and JP an incredible journey across the world and we hope to see you guys when you return one day! Have a fantastic new life together and we leave you with a few of our favourite shots from the day…
