When we got a message from Catherine and Matthew we were quite excited to find out that the wedding would be held near our house, on the West Island! On top of that, this young couple lives just around the corner, which made it easy when we met and finalized their details.

Not to mention how obvious it was that they were perfect for each other, as soon as they came by to talk we knew they were a perfect match with us. Smiles from ear to ear, easy going, trusting us with our direction, these are things we love about our brides and grooms.

The wedding was held at the beautiful Eglise St-Germain in Outremont. Giant decorative windows allowed the summer sun to pour in and warm up both our photos and also literally the church! It was a hot day but everyone enjoyed it and not a single soul complained. The Forest and Stream Club on the West Island provided the most perfect lakeshore setting for the wedding reception. Complete with lake side hors d’oeuvres, delicious meals and a beautiful historic building.

Just as Catherine and Matthew had smiles from ear to ear when we first met them, we too had the same look on our faces while working with them on their wedding day. Actually, now that I think about it, pretty much every person beamed with happiness around them that day. From the moment we entered Catherine’s parent’s home to the hilarious moments we witnessed happening in front of the photobooth late in the evening.

Magda and I were thrilled to be a part of this day and we thank Catherine and Matthew for taking us along for the ride. We wish you lots of joy and happiness in your marriage…but we see that you’ve got it covered already.
