Jodi and Daryl. We had connected a long time ago and we have been looking forward to shooting their wedding so much! Both of them being so happy and enthusiastic to have us spending the day with them was just touching. On top of it all we had met them at Melissa and Ben’s wedding with Jodi being one of the bridesmaids, which brought us even closer. The work is so amazing because we make new friends all the time, people we really genuinely like and would have over for dinner and drinks. Not only do we have the privelage to create some beatuiful art for our brides but it’s also all about relationships, happiness, love and excitement…it all plays a huge part in the day and we love every minute of it. Jodi and Daryl’s wedding was definitely no exception! We reconnected with friends of theirs we had met and photographed like the Brisson family, and felt like we were part of this fantastic day…and how lucky are we to also capture some images for them which they will cherish forever? Cool is definitely an understatement.
The wedding was held at St. Monica’s Catholic church, and then we went over to Manotik and took advantage of the old Watson’s Mill and surrouding areas. We then finished off the day by partying it up at the Orchard View reception hall with lots of laughter, dancing, good food and tears of joy. Below are some of our favourite moments of the day.
We love our job. And Jodi and Daryl…have a fantastic life together, you deserve it :)
